Overview
An attended Direct Cremation is similar to an unattended Direct Cremation but provides the family with an opportunity for up to six mourners to say their final goodbyes and to spend a few moments with the coffin in private in our Chapel of Rest. This can be arranged at a mutually agreed time which can include evenings if you prefer.
There is an opportunity for music to be played in the Chapel and, if desired, your Funeral Director will lead a short blessing of the coffin. We will deliver your loved ones ashes to your home at a time and date suitable for you or arrange scattering or interment of ashes within the Crematoriums Garden of Remembrance.
WHATS INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE?
- 24-hour professional, high quality care and support for you and your loved one in our funeral home
- All arrangements managed, including all necessary legal documents
- All funeral arrangements made in our funeral home or, if you prefer, over the telephone with your dedicated and experienced Funeral Director
- Mutual agreement of the date and time of the funeral
- Preparation of your loved one (excluding embalming) in their own personal clothes or in our bespoke gown
- Supply of a simple coffin for your loved one, suitable for burial or cremation
- Provision of a motor hearse to transport your loved one directly to the crematorium or burial ground
- Your dedicated Funeral Director, four Pallbearers and all required staff on the day of the funeral
- Provision of music to be played in the chapel or at graveside
ADDITIONS INCLUDED TO THE ATTENDED DIRECT CREMATION PACKAGE:
- Opportunity for up to six mourners to view the coffin in our Chapel of Rest for up to 30 minutes before leaving the Chapel
- Provision of music to be played in the Chapel, if desired
- Provision of a Funeral Director to lead a short blessing of the coffin, if desired
- All cremation fee’s and Doctor’s fees are included
