We will provide a basic coffin for cremation or burial and a motor hearse with all required bearers and personnel on the day of the funeral, but families may carry the coffin into the Chapel if they like. During the ceremony, we offer music to be played in the chapel or at graveside.

We provide Direct Cremations, you may have your ashes scattered at one of the many locations across Heanor and Horsley. Our direct cremation services in Heanor include an unattended cremation for one or more mourners. Families can select a Direct Unattended Cremation if a funeral is not required. This is a less expensive alternative to the Traditional Services, and it allows you to share your loved one’s story with others while still receiving the same high-quality, professional care we provide to all of our families.
An attended Direct Cremation allows for up to six mourners to pay their respects and spend a few moments alone with the coffin in our Chapel of Rest. There is a chance for music to be played in the Chapel, and if desired, your Funeral Director will offer a short prayer over the coffin.
